Miyazaki Halloween

Right, so, I see that You requested a critique. I am no master myself but I'll try to help if I can. First of: The composition is pretty neat, but there's too much black on the right side, You should add something to match this out because the viever's eye is constantly concentrating on Kanoyashi and the black cat. Even it out by adding somehing to the left side. Also another thing is that the candle has it's own light source, which is closer than the fireplace so the shadow should be more curved down than it is now, it's looking almost as if Kanoyashi was giving off some light by himself. Also, I don't really like the dot-shading, You should keep it with different shades of gray. That's pretty much all, I couldn't see many reasons to critique this piece. Let me know if this helped in any way. It's a really neat drawing and I like it.
